About the Role

We are seeking to fill the following vacancies:

  • Permanent Part-Time Educators - OSHC - split shifts morning and afternoon

  • Casual Educators - OSHC - morning and afternoon shifts

  • Casual Educators - 0-5 must hold Cert III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care


The 0-5 Long Day Care Service is located in Woy Woy.


Positions in OSHC will see Educators working across multiple sites including Gosford, Kariong, Woodport and Woy Woy.


Working with an experienced, dedicated and friendly team of professional Educators, these positions will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in the preparation and implementation of an educational program and activities;

  • Developing a stimulating, fun and educational learning environment.

  • Assisting with managing children's needs;

  • Meeting the health and safety needs of all children;

  • Building professional and positive relationships with the children and families of the service.

Requirements

Educators applying for either Casual or Permanent positions within the 0-5 Service must hold a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.


Educators applying for casual or part-time positions within OSHC must be 18 years old, hold a First Aid Certificate and poses a general understanding of early childhood education principles. Previous experience working with Children is preferred, but not essential. Child Protection Training will need to be completed prior to commencing. 


It is a condition of employment that successful applicants hold or obtain a Working With Children Check Clearance and a National Police Check Clearance prior to commencing employment. Additionally, Educators within our Services must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and remain up to date with booster vaccinations through their employment with CCCL. A current COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate showing 3 doses of an approved COVID-19 Vaccine is a requirement for this position.
