Nominated Supervisor – Maternity Leave Cover/Full time 

Coast Community Connections operates Out Of School Hours Care (OSHC) Woy Woy, Gosford, Umina Beach and Point Clare program's. We are a community-based not-for-profit organisation delivering high-quality services and programs to various groups across the Central Coast. 

With 80 employees, Coast Community Connections provides a diverse range of services from children's services, youth and community programs, through to ageing and disability services.

About the role 

We are seeking applications for an exceptional Nominated Supervisor with experience in managing day to day operations of a service, planning and implementing educational programs for school-aged children, preferably in an Out of School Hours Care setting. The suitable applicant would have previous experience in a Supervising role within an education and care setting. This role is a full- time opportunity, for an eight month period covering maternity leave. 


Skills and experience

The successful candidate of the position will hold: 

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education 
  • Working with Children Check 
  • Child Protection Training
  • Current Senior First Aid Certificate, including: 
    - HLTAID001 Provide CPR
    - HLTAID002 Provide basic emergency life support
    - HLTAID003 Provide first aid
    - HLTAID004 Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting 

In addition to the requirements for the position above, the successful candidate will be knowledgeable in the National Quality framework and National Quality Standards.
