Samantha completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Chinese language at Smith College in the United States. Shortly thereafter she moved to Australia where she completed her Graduate Law degree at the University of Sydney.  Between degrees she assisted senior staff at the Global Initiative office of the Harvard Business School in supporting advisory boards that oversaw each of the departments international research centres.

In addition, she gained valuable experience working with general counsel of a NYC private equity firm in compliance ensuring that all shareholders met the necessary requirements.

Samantha currently practices as a Family Law Solicitor on the Northern end of the Central Coast where she lives with her husband and two boys.  She also works as a committee member of the local soccer club and a volunteer at her children’s school and catholic church giving her a strong sense of community.
